In competent hands, it glides through the dark like a specter.
The time has come for we Barant to make known our supremacy. A single Barant is strong, but strength is not enough. We must be enduring. To endure we must persist beyond the individual: we must make for ourselves a state. But a state cannot exist without war, and war demands a state to exist. Therefore, we must make both in parallel. We begin by breaking away from our current associations with the feeble Imperial Cabal.
The Hive, our foe eternal, think they are clever. They have made war for billions of years and, through that exercise, believe they have winnowed all questions of existence down to their root: "Do you live, or do you die?" This is not a question, any soldier tempered in fire understands this. The ultimate question can only be asked once victory is achieved: "Will you dictate reality, or will you be subject to another's?"
From birth, I was raised knowing the Cabal dictated reality. Torobatl, the heart taken from us by the Hive, proved me wrong; they gored our Empire on THEIR truth. But the question of our right to exist was not settled on that day. Enemies within and without have tried to dictate our reality, but they have not yet succeeded. We still live, and so now we will prepare our answer. We will engage the enemy in our war.
Our war will be the ultimate question. My comrades, do not fear the unknown beyond Saturn. Embrace this journey. Though we enter a strange time, we will exit it at the moment of our choosing—and bring with us our Barant state, our Barant war, and our victorious Barant reality.
